DESIRE, LONGING AND LUST

My work is an ongoing exploration of intimacy between men, the vulnerability we can experience, and desire, longing, and lust; these states and emotions are interconnected, and at times it seems possible to feel them all simultaneously.

I've been fascinated by the power and intrigue of reflections; In the photography session, I often view myself, the intimacy of the moment within the shared space with the model.

Paul Mpagi Sepuya's work has inspired me; I explore the space between myself and the model, making visible the invisible whilst reflecting on my own journey owning my identity as a Queer man after years of standing on the sidelines, watching, afraid, curious.
